'Revisiting ethical issues in preventative HIV vaccine trials in light of the early closure of the STEP and Phambili trials'

An AAVP Satellite meeting is being held in Auckland prior to the start of the Ninth Global Forum on Bioethics in Research.

The workshop will focus on methodologies of teaching ethics, with particular emphasis on application and integration of Asia-Pacific ethical knowledge, epistemiology and ideas into teaching ethics. The examples will include both medical ethics, biotechnology, public health and environmental issues.
